This syllabus has been designed to meet the requirements of professional bodies and industries while giving students the competitive edge. Emphasis is on the application of knowledge through teamwork, case studies, simulations and real-life projects.
The Diploma in Electrical Engineering programme is designed to prepare you for professional career and to further your study to Bachelor Degree in the related engineering field. We adopt comprehensive and innovative content and teaching techniques, which are designed towards expanding the frontiers of learning and inculcating a probing mind.
You will be challenged to develop into multi-skilled professionals possessing mental, intellectual and emotional fortitude to succeed in life. The curricula, further enhanced with project work, lab experiments and practical training, are designed with inputs from reputable sources.
The Diploma in Electrical Engineering curriculum consists of a good mix of general subjects as well as core engineering subjects.
92 credit hours of subjects are being taught in seven semesters. This Diploma in Electrical Engineering programme can be completed in 2 ½ years.

International Students
International students are required to fulfil one of the English proficiency scores stated below to enrol at UNITEN. Foundation students who do not fulfil this English requirement are required to sit for the Test of English Proficiency (TEP) before they could enrol in the English Short Course (ESC).
